Steve graduated with an Honors Degree in Banking and Finance and continued his studies with a Masters in Corporate Finance at the European University. Afterwards, Steve became a Chartered Financial Analyst, a certificate of excellence in the sector issued by the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, United States.

Steve contributed significantly to the promotion of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles in Malta’s corporate community. 

In 2023 Steve Ellul was appointed CEO of Project Green and is currently a director at the  Malta Development Bank.
